AGROCLIMATIC INFORMATION FOR AGRICULTURAL PLANNING AND OPERATION IN ILOCOS NORTE PARTICULARLY BATAC AND SURROUNDING AREAS FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL

I. AGROCLIMATIC SUMMARY::

Partly cloudy skies is prevalent in the area. Total rainfall amount of 18.0 mm with 1 rainy days (light rains) and a total evaporation of 189.9 mm are the normal values for the month.

Atmospheric and soil condition remains dry hence, good drying condition for agricultural harvest prevails. Normal relative humidity in the morning is 77%. Leaf wetness duration is up to 6 hours only. Daylight duration is 12 hours and 43 minutes with 63% total bright sunshine. This situation gives an amount of 23.5 MJ/m2/day of solar radiation during most days of the month.
