Monthly Agroclimatological Forecast / Information
Agroclimatological forecast or agroclimatic information developed was based on historical data. This forecast indicates average weather condition that tend to prevail at certain decade of the given month or they can indicate the chance or probability of some climatological event occurring. This forecast can be used as an advance information for more effective and efficient agricultural planning and operation.
The agroclimatological forecast contain the following information for a given decade and month: rainfall amount; number of rainy days; evaporation amount; drying condition; air temperature; soil moisture condition; solar radiation; wind direction/speed; probability of tropical cyclone; daily probability of rainfall occurrence, initial and transitional probabilities of rainfall occurrence, and rainfall depths at different probability levels.
