CALL FOR PAPERS FOR THE THIRD NATIONAL CLIMATE CONFERENCE
The National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), together with the OML Center, Philippines, is announcing the CALL FOR PAPERS FOR THE THIRD NATIONAL CLIMATE CONFERENCE on 25 September 2014 with the theme, "Climate-related Risks and Disasters."
Interested participants are requested to submit papers on the topics below and in accordance with the conference theme:
- Climate trends and implications to DRR
- Increasing risk and exposure in landscapes, seascapes, and vulnerable sectors (IPs, minority, urban poor)
- Demography and migration
- Urban growth, building urban centers/resiliency
- Community-based disaster response
- Available technologies and communication tools
- Early warning systems
- Lessons from Ondyoy, Habagat, Pablo, Yolanda, etc.
Participants are also requested to submit their abstracts to 2014climateconferenceabstract@gmail.com. Deadline for submission of papers is on 31 July 2014.
