Graduated with the degree in Bachelor of Science in Biology in the year 2001 at the MMSU-CAS, Pilar Carolyn V. Pascual continued her education by obtaining 21 Professional Education units at the MMSU-CTE. After taking and passing the Licensure Examination for Teachers in 2002 she worked at the Northern Foods Corporation-Quality Control Department as a Line Crew. In the year 2003, she worked as Science Aide at the MMSU-CASAT under the project “Culture of Economically Important Invertebrates and Finfishes in Ilocos Norte." Her work includes field activities, hatchery maintenance, and report writing. In July of 2004, she was became a permanent employee of MMSU as a Science Research Assistant until May of 2014. She was involved in GAD, stock assessment, fishing gears and hatchery related studies on fisheries.  She was also involved in GIA such as the AFFNR, Philippine National Aquasilviculture Project and the Application of Coral Transplantation Technology Project. She obtained her 1 Star SCUBA Diver License on November 2015. She is also presently enrolled in the MS Biology Program at the MMSU-Graduate School under the CHED-FDP Scholarship Grant. She shifted to the teaching force of MMSU-CASAT on June 2015 to present as an Instructor I. She teaches microbiology, zoology, botany and ecology subjects.
