Biography

Dr. Oscar M. Agpaoa is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a PhD in Development Management. He is currently a full-time accounting and taxation teacher at the College of Business, Economics and Accountancy (CBEA) of Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) and also teaches at the Graduate School of MMSU. He has previously assumed administrative designations in various capacities in his 32 years of government service at MMSU. He has had work experiences with private entities particularly on banking, teaching, manufacturing and mining before he entered the government. He also practices his profession as external auditor and management and tax consultant, and has written manuals and modules in taxation and accounting systems. As currently designated college research coordinator of CBEA, he personally conducts or collaborate with other faculty members in studies and researches especially feasibility studies and accounting and internal control systems. He also renders extension services to MMSU clients and is often tapped as resource speaker/trainer in seminars and trainings conducted by government agencies on topics of his expertise.
