Biography

JAN RICH A. GUIRA is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in English Studies (ABES), Major in English as a Second Language and Master of Arts in English Language and Literature (MAELL) at the Mariano Marcos State University where he also serves as an instructor/lecturer. He has presented researches in various international conferences like the 7^th  International Free Linguistic Conference at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong; 11^th Asia Teaching English as a Foreign Language (Asia TEFL) at the Ateneo de Manila University; 2014 International Conference for Applied Linguistics and Language Education at the De La Salle University; Linguistic Society of the Philippines National Conference and General Meeting and many more. His research interest focuses on students’ needs, learning styles, literary and cultural studies, curriculum development and philosophy. At present, he is pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy in Language, Major in English at the Benguet State University and serves as the Student Affairs Coordinator of the College of Arts and Sciences.
