MMSU wins top 3 best policy brief

The Mariano Marcos State University’s policy brief landed in the top 3 outputs presented during the culmination of the virtual training on Writing Policy Briefs held on August 24-25, 2021.

The training program was participated by representatives from the different higher education institutions and hospitals in Region 1.   It was hosted by the Region 1 Health Research and Development Consortium (R1HRDC) through its Research Utilization Committee (RUC), which is based at the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center (MMMH&MC), City of Batac, Ilocos Norte.

The training enabled participants to describe characteristics and elements as well as the structure and contents of a policy brief, prepare a policy brief on their chosen topic, and understand techniques for writing clear and concise sentences. They also learn tips to edit policy briefs effectively.
