1. Benchmark Information on Native Pig Production Management Practices in Ilocos Region

2. Performance of Growing Native Chickens under Different Feeding Materials

A total of nine heads growing native pigs randomly allotted into three dietary treatments using RCBD. A ten-day preliminary feeding period will be done before the start of the feeding trial to acquaint the experimental animals to new feeding system. Their ration will be supplemented by the test ration gradually and ad libitum will be practices.

Data will be gathered and analyzed using RCBD.

3. Performance Evaluation of Native Pigs under Different Housing Management Practices

A total of 12 heads weanlings will be randomly allotted into two conditions and data shall be analyzed using RCBD.

Expected Output
Results will be the basis of formulating research proposals toward the development of potential native pig in the region particularly Ilocos Norte.
