  1. Product – At least one (1) acceptable and shelf stable shallot-based food product (Vacuum Fried Shallots). ·       
  2. Publications – At least one (1) submitted paper for publication in a local/international journal. 
  3. Patent – At least two (2) Utility Model for the product and process developed. 
  4.  Policy – At least one (1) Package of technology which is S&T based and aligned with the FDA standards on GMP and Food Safety.  
  5.  People Services - Assistance to possible technology adapter/s and other livelihood projects of the college and university.   
  6. Place and Partnerships – Collaboration with Local Government Units and government agencies.  

One of the potential social impacts of this project is increased awareness and reduced market-resistance of the people to new products. It is also expected that the increased preference of local consumers on shallot-based products will be observed. The results of the project are expected to help provide an opportunity to interested entrepreneurs to venture into innovative food processing technologies which may open more opportunities and consequently, additional profit.
