Biography
Charito Batara Julian was born on August 16, 1977 to a family of farmers in Brgy. Abucay, Piddig, Ilocos Norte. The third child of Mr. Leonardo Pascual Julian (deceased) and Mrs. Catalina Bautista Batara, he was a consistent honor student and graduated on top of his class in both elementary and secondary levels. He earned his baccalaureate degree (BSBA major in Management Accounting), with distinction, from the Mariano Marcos State University, City of Batac, Ilocos Norte and Master in Business Administration from the Divine Word College of Laoag. While pursuing a doctorate degree at the University of the Philippines-Diliman, he was awarded with Master of Science in Management as a pickup degree in consideration of his academic performance in the PhD program.
Mr. Julian is married to Mrs. Elaine Yvelyse Real Julian and they were blessed with three kids, Charles Ellix, Charlaine Eunix and Charise Yvette.
He is an Associate Professor at the Mariano Marcos State University, College of Business, Economics and Accountancy, City of Batac, Ilocos Norte. He has presented papers in national, regional and local conferences. His research interests are in marketing, finance and corporate governance. He is a member of various national professional organizations.
