Biography

Mr. Keivin G. Cadavona is currently holding a bachelor’s degree in agriculture major in Animal Science from Mariano Marcos State University from which he graduated cum laude and passed the licensure examination for agriculturists in 2019. As of the moment, he is already finished with his academic courses in his master’s degree in animal science at Benguet State University and currently finishing his thesis. 

Before joining the academe, he worked first as a farm supervisor and then acted as a technical assistant also to one of the biggest poultry integrators in the country, Bounty Fresh Food, Inc. Further, he entered the university as a part-time faculty from September to December 2020 and was given a full-time job in the year 2021 until the present. With more than 3 years of teaching, he handled various courses such as Introduction to Animal Science, Principles of Animal Science, Introduction to Livestock and Poultry Production, Ruminant Production, Dairy Production, Slaughtering of Animals and Processing of their Products, Animal Nutrition and Animal Anatomy and Physiology to BS Agriculture, BS Agribusiness and BS Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering students. 

 Additionally, he currently serves as a member of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of MMSU and the Project Manager of the MMSU Native Pig Project. He has actively participated in research projects such as "Epidemiology of Internal Parasites in Ilocos Norte" and "AMResponsible: Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices (KAP) on the Use of Veterinary Antibiotics in Ilocos Norte." Furthermore, he is a project staff member for the extension project "Animal Diseases Surveillance and Prioritization in the City of Batac, Ilocos Norte."
