Dr. Teresita N. Pablo is a full-time faculty of the College of Industrial technology of the MMSU. She finished her Bachelor of Science in Home Technology major in Foods, Master of Arts in Education major in Home Economics, and Doctor of Education major in Educational Management from the Mariano Marcos State University in 1985, 1999 and 2011, respectively. She is teaching in Food Processing and Service Management in the undergraduate and Technology and Home Economics and Technical Vocational Education in the Graduate School.
She is involved in several research projects of the College and University like Rediscovering the Ilokano fruit and vegetable based recipes and selected meat-based recipes (DID) for Household processing and Cultural education Diversity for Local Communities; Food product Innovation for school-based enterprises: A CIT Niche project; and Product Development of Bolinao chicken. She has deep passion in developing products that are locally available such as Malunggay-based products, native chicken, lechon and pickled native chicken eggs. The poster for Malunggay-based Recipes was awarded the Dr. Edgar F. Padilla’s Best Poster during the Ilocos Consortium for Industry and Energy Research and Developments 2 nd Industry and Energy Symposium. Lately, the pickled native eggs was awarded the Best Product Innovation (Best Ulam) by the Commission on Higher Education in the SUC’s Expo 2020.
Currently, she is the extension coordinator and GAD Focal person of the College of Industrial Technology. She was once the Food Service Chief and Director of the Food Service Unit of the University. She teaches Home Economics at the Graduate School and Food Processing and Service Management in the undergraduate.
