Biography
Madeline T. Fernando is the chair of the Elementary Education Department of MMSU College of Teacher Education. She is teaching Professional Education courses in the undergraduate classes and Educational Management courses at the graduate level. She has been serving as adviser, panel member and critique reader/editor of undergraduate and graduate researches, a lecturer and trainer in English, research and teaching pedagogy and a book/ module writer in English and Professional Education courses. In the field of research, she has attended national and international conferences as research presenter and at present, she is a project leader of a GAA-funded research of the University.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree and Master of Arts in Education major in English Language at the MMSU Graduate School; Doctor of Education major in Educational Management at Northern Christian College and Diploma in TESOL at the Academy of English Language Teachers in Singapore.
