She obtained all her degrees at the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), BS in Development Communication, MS in Rural Development and Ph.D in Rural Development.  At present, she is an Education Research Assistant I and part time faculty at the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and College of Agriculture, Food and Sustainable Development (CAFSD). She teaches social science subjects and serves as member of advisory committee of the MS in Rural Development and BS in Agricultural Extension as well as BS in Development Communication. She is a correspondent of the University Newsletter and designated as GAD Coordinator of Extension Directorate. Likewise, she is active in research as she was project staff of various studies on garlic, climate change, renewable energy, and needs assessment of the DAR projects. She also serves as Chief of the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation section of the Extension and project leader on Seedstock dispersal project for rice and corn of the University.
