Brief Description

This study aims to investigate how farm-level knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) among poultry farmers in Batac, Ilocos Norte contribute to the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). By combining survey-based KAP assessments with laboratory analysis of bacterial isolates from poultry farms, the research seeks to identify behavioral and environmental drivers of AMR. The findings will inform targeted interventions to promote responsible antibiotic use and strengthen local efforts in combating AMR within the agricultural sector.
