Brief Description
- Eel industry is an emerging business in the Philippines.
- Preliminary studies (Cremer, 1976, Rickards et al., 1978, Jessop, 2000, Leander et al., 2012, Wei-dong et al., 2013) conducted specially abroad which showed positive results.
- Some eel farms are already established in the country, however protocols on rearing were still unknown.
