Research Details

Documentation of trees belonging to the Family Dipterocarpaceae which are presently dominating the second growth forest of selected municipalities of Ilocos Norte. In addition, data such as the diameter, diameter classification, species and other relevant parameters will also be taken in consideration.

The study involves documentation activities to selected LGU partners such as Nueva Era, Pasuquin, Vintar, Adams and Pagudpud. These municipalities are considered in the study because these areas are known for its vast diversity of flora and fauna. This could be possible through the assistance from LGU partners. LGU will assist the team in the reconnaissance survey of the site, actual documentation and data gathering of secondary data.
