Brief Description | This study is premised on the theory that businesses, large or small, have to manage their financial resources effectively and efficiently to attain the various objectives of liquidity, stability, profitability and growth. It is very important that businesses recognize that their survival and growth are deeply anchored on sound financial practices because practically all decisions they confront carry financial implications. The research design is a descriptive survey method coupled with document analysis. Data will be gathered mainly through personal interview with the aid of interview schedules. Observation will also be used to supplement and verify the data gathered in the interview. Unstructured interviews of auditors and personnel involved in the preparation of financial statements shall also be conducted. Likewise personnel who are involved in the implementation of the financial management practices will be interviewed to verify the intensity of applicaiton of these practices. Structured interviews will be conducted and document analysis will be done to reinforce the results of the interviews. The purposive sampling shall be used. Proponents:
