Brief Description | This research is focused on the determination of the level of awareness, acceptability and attainability of the university's vision and mission, college goals, and objectives of the BS Physical Therapy program by the stakeholders which include the students, alumni, parents, faculty members and industry partners. It will be descriptive-comparative research design using survey method as it describes the acceptability and attainability of the vision and mission of the University, the goals of the College, and the objectives of the BSPT Program offered by the Department of Physical Therapy. It is comparative in nature as it will compare the responses of the four (4) groups of respondents on the variables being studied. The study will use purposive sampling in this study as this will enable the researchers to reach out to greater number of respondents. A sample size of 120 respondents will be used for the study. The study will develop a survey questionnaire that will be pilot-tested and validated (face and content validation). The research instrument will be improved as based from the suggestions given. The research instrument is three-part used to gather pertinent information: demographic profile, educational background, and employment data. There will be one set of questionnaire to be used for each set of respondents. The study will commence after review and approval of MMSU Ethics Review Committee as it is a requisite when involving humans as respondents in a study. A written informed consent to participate in the study will be obtained from the respondents. They will be informed that participation is voluntary and confidential. The study will be submitted for ethics review and approval to the University Ethics Review Board. Once approved, letter of request with attached informed consent will be forwarded to selected respondents. Questionnaires will be personally distributed or emailed online to respondents who will give their informed consent. Two weeks will be given to the respondents to answer the questionnaire. If there is no return of completed questionnaire within the allotted time, the researchers will change the respondents. The collected data will be tabulated, statistically treated and analyzed.
