Brief Description
•Lubeg (Syzygium Lineatum) is another indigenous fruit tree in the Philippines. Lubeg fruits have spongy flesh and are whitish at first but turn red to violet when ripe. Lubeg is commonly found in the Mountainous area of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Apayao and other part of Cagayan Valley. 
•This fruit has been existing tracing back the time this fruit has been discovered. Despite of its big potential, this fruit remain underutilized and underappreciated.
•This can be a good avenue to make innovative products that will make Lubeg or Philippine Cherry will be available in the form of Jams, Powered Drink Mix, Vinegar and to test the general acceptability of the developed product after which to commercialize the final output.
