Expected Output | Publication: Provide information on the status of waste generation and management in university laboratory schools People services: Design measures/strategy in implementing Solid Waste Management in ULS pursuant to the Republic Act 9003 Partnerships: Collaboration with the stakeholders such as the learners, parents, teachers and the ULS Administration in crafting a Waste Management and Greening Program of the school campus Social Impact: Promotion of conducive learning environment via provision of clean and organized physical infrastructures in terms of waste management systems The information gathered through the Waste Analysis and Characterization Study (WACS), the school can develop a reliable waste management plan/program which can be implemented by the General Laboratory Elementary School Student Council (GLESC) which is the student governing body of the school and can be extended in their households. This management plan includes a reliable waste management strategy which composes of the measures on proper solid waste management (i.e. on how to reduce, reuse and recycle the waste being generated by the school). Overall, the school and the community can maintain cleanliness and achieve a conducive learning environment for the students. |
