This deliverable will highlight the various products derived from pigeon pea, such as grain, forage, and by-products, along with their market potential and value chain opportunities. It will provide insights into market demand, processing technologies, and marketing strategies for pigeon pea products.
Policy Recommendations: Evidenced-based policy recommendations to support the integration of pigeon pea as a climate change adaptation crop in agricultural policies and programs in Ilocos Norte. The policy recommendations may serve as a roadmap for policymakers and government agencies to create an enabling environment for the adoption and expansion of pigeon pea production.
