Brief Description | The result of this project will benefit the sweet sorghum farmers. The utilization of marginal areas for sweet sorghum production will give additional source of income to farmers. This study will contribute to the development of sustainable and organic farming practices in Ilocos Norte. The use of fermented sweet sorghum juice can reduce the reliance on synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, which have negative impacts on human health, the environment, and the economy. Moreover, the financial viability of this sustainable farming approach can provide cost-effective, environment friendly alternative and valuable information to farmers and policymakers, thus, encouraging the adoption of sustainable farming practices. |
