Biography
BRYAN R. REALGO is an Assistant Professor of Communication at the Mariano Marcos State University, Philippines. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from University of Northern Philippines, and a Master’s degree in Development Communication from Benguet State University. He obtained his Doctor of Communication from the University of the Philippines. His research interests are mass communication, development communication, cultural heritage, and qualitative studies.
He has authored several books, including Organizational Culture and Communication, Knowledge Management: A Communication Perspective, Tourism Captured: A Worktext in Social Media, Photography, and Videography, and Community Development and Communication. In addition, he has co-authored textbooks on Purposive Communication and Risk, Disaster, and Humanitarian Communication, contributing significantly to the fields of communication, media, and development studies.
As a media practitioner, he previously worked at ABS-CBN Corporation as a news reporter, news anchor, and news desk editor.
