Biography
With her 10 years of experience in different research projects funded by DOST and CHED, she has leading experience in project management, output-based research, and end-user-oriented extension services. While much of her experience has been in the world of research, she also earned planning and management skills at Universal Leaf Philippines, Inc., where she served as a management trainee.
Engr. Christine Mata holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering and graduated with Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering with a major in Land and Water Resources from the University of the Philippines Los BaƱos. She is now serving as the Chief of the Coastal Engineering R&D Center at the Mariano Marcos State University.
Her research interests include GIS and remote sensing. water management, disaster risk mapping, and river basin management.
