Biography
He is currently involved in various researches especially in the Production of Hydrous Bioethanol thru the Utility Model Reflux distillation Apparatus he developed and deployed in various areas in Pamplona Cagayan, and in Aparri Cagayan. In the bioethanol research, he is one of the project /study leader who is instrumental in trying out Nipa as viable feedstock for bioethanol fuel blend. Nipa bioethanol was first produced in the community level as hydrous fuel, and dehydrated to anhydrous ethanol in the mainstream distillation facility. The first dehydration run in the country using Nipa as feedstock was conducted thru their research projects.
Also, Engr. Mateo's field of interest are in Energy Management and conservation.
