Biography

Christy Ann M. Rahon teaches Chemistry, Science, and Professional Education subjects at the Mariano Marcos State University College of Teacher Education. Currently, she is the program coordinator of the Bachelor in Secondary Education major in Science Program of the College of Education and the program adviser of the Master of Arts in Education major in Chemistry program of the Graduate School. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines Los Banos, and earned 18 units of Professional Education course from MMSU-Distance Learning. She obtained her Master of Arts in Education major in Chemistry from MMSU Graduate School and is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education major in Chemistry at De La Salle University. She is a holder of both a Chemist and a Professional Teacher license. Her research interests include Science Teaching and Learning, Chemistry Education (concepts and pedagogy), Culturally Responsive Education and Action Research. She has already published two collaborative researches and was able to present in international conferences. She is also a trainer of the Project STAR of DOST-SEI.
