Biography

Dr. Vida V. Antonio is an Associate Professor of the MMSU College of Teacher Education. She earned her bachelor’s degree in BS Physics for Teachers at the Philippine Normal University – Manila. She obtained the degrees MAEd Physics and EdD Educational Management at the MMSU Graduate School. At present, she is the adviser and chair of the MAEd Physics and Doctor of Education programs respectively, at the MMSU Graduate School. She has been actively engaged in research activities, taking various research-related roles and responsibilities. She has been serving as an adviser of action research in the undergraduate level, a major adviser of graduate students in MAEd Physics, and a chair and a panel member in dissertation and thesis defenses. Dr. Antonio is also a sought after lecturer and trainer in research, particularly in the field of sciences. Currently, Dr. Antonio is implementing a research project funded by the General Appropriations Act of MMSU. Her project, containing six studies, focuses on evaluating the assessment resources, strategies, and practices employed by basic education teachers
