Brief Description | The graduates are the primary products of Higher Educations Institutions (HEIs). They work in all parts of the world to show their professional competencies and be part of the development of their respective companies and countries. Skills and competencies of graduates can be best acquired for the effective implementation of curriculum, through teaching methodologies and very satisfactory institutional support facilities. This study will attempt to measure the employability and competencies of College of Business, Economics, and Accountancy (CBEA) HM graduates using the gender-based analysis. The CHED-Graduate Tracer Study (CHED-GTS) survey questionnaire will be used as a basic research instrument with the inclusion of gender role-oriented questions. The questionnaire will be pre-tested to ensure realibility and validity. Such will be floated in the internet using the google form. Results of the study will provide work-specific data on alumni and competencies and gender-roles. Suggestions to improve the BS Hospitality Management curriculum of CBEA are to be elicited from the graduates as bases for curricular revision. To analyze the employability and performance of BS Hospitality Management graduate as employees, it is proposed to include gender analysis using the approach on Sex-Disaggregated Data(SDD). This approach will give executives, administrators and key persons in the institution to understand not only it's program offerings but also its current and future students. The conduct of this graduate tracer study shall serve as an avenue to look into actual and present data on employment and extent of the relevance of competencies as a feedback mechanism on the effectiveness of the BS Hospitality Management curriculum. |
