Brief Description | The researchers aim to develop a high-quality learning tool that could deliver high-quality education by integrating academe theories and industry practices in a safe and supportive quality learning environment. This is an interactive computer-based simulation training in which students will be encouraged to speak on the computer while guiding their guests virtually through the most interesting attractions in Ilocos Norte. Hence, they can learn about the tourist destinations of Ilocos Norte while developing communication skills and competence in tour guiding. |
Expected Output | • Product. An Interactive Computer-Based Simulation Training: Wonders-of-Ilocos-Norte (WIN) e-Travel Training. This can be used as instructional material for tour guiding. • Publication of the output in a reputable journal. Publish output in Scopus or ISI-indexed journals. • Partnership. Linkages with TESDA and academic institutions both Higher Education Institutions and High School Institutions • Paper Presentation. Results of the study are to be presented in the In-House Research Review and other research fora. • Social Impact. Delivery of training through quality learning tools in a safe and supportive learning environment • Economic Impact. Reduction of training cost and time; Promotion of tourist destinations in Ilocos Norte that would intensify tourism in the province |
