Biography

Dr. Cheryll Didi Nellie N. Obra was awarded the 2022 Outstanding Professional of the Year Award (in the field of Physical Therapy) by the Professional Regulation Commission. Also, she received the 2017  Outstanding Teacher Award from the Mariano Marcos State University. Moreover, she was recognized as Best Performing Individual in Health Research CY 2021 by the Region 1 Health Research and Development Consortium (R1HRDC).   

She served as the Vice Chair of the University Research Ethics Review Board (URERB) from 2015 - 2021. She co-authored the URERB Standard Operating Procedures Manual.  

She conducted both GAA-funded and GIA-funded researches (external funding from PCHRD - R1HRDC).  

She has published research articles in peer-reviewed journals. She served as peer reviewer for scientific journals  as well as senior manuscript reviewer of the Philippine Journal for Physical Therapy.
