Biography

Ms. Pammit earned her BS Economics degree in MMSU in 2013. At present, she is pursuing her MS in Agricultural Economics degree at the University of the Philippines Los Baños with full scholarship from the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA). She specializes in Agricultural Policy and Development and Environmental Economics.

She has been involved in research along the fields of socioeconomics, resource and environmental economics. Furthermore, in collaboration with other faculty in the university, her policy recommendations concerning natural resource management has been adopted by concerned agencies. At present, she is working along projects dealing with agribusiness and rural development under the National Bioenergy Research and Innovation Center. 

She is passionate in contributing to the advancement of knowledge from research outputs and in achieving development and progress through the usage/application of such outputs for the welfare of the community towards inclusive growth. She is very enthusiastic in engaging with more research and development endeavors that would eventually bring positive impacts to the community.
